About Us
The National Farm Toy Museum is a collection based museum with two floors of displays based on agriculture equipment. Located in Dyersville, Iowa, home to the Ertl Company now TOMY, Scale Models and SpecCast respectively, earning our town moniker "The Farm Toy Capital of the World!" Along with this rich heritage, the museum and Dyersville are home to the Summer Farm Toy Show every June and Toy Farmer Magazine's National Farm Toy Show each November.
Brief profile of the founders
Dyersville Economic Development Corporation (DEDC), legally Dyersville Industries, Incorporated (DII), is a not-for-profit economic development organization incorporated on March 1, 1983. Management of DEDC is by a volunteer 15-member Board of Directors, a paid Executive Director and Assistant. Before 1996, the organization was run solely by a volunteer board.
