Living History Farms Toy Show
Area farm toy enthusiasts are sure to enjoy themselves as they buy, sell, and trade with a variety of dealers, including representatives from the national Farm Toy Museum, in the Visitor Center at Living History Farms, Saturday, February 2, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Sunday, February 3, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The sixth annual Living History Farms Farm Toy Show will feature a wide variety of farm toy collectibles, from die cast tractors to farming books, and construction toys. Hobbyists will also find other miscellaneous collectibles such as belt buckles, trading cards, Breyer horses and John Deere and Farmall merchandise. The national Farm Toy Museum will have a display of farm toys produced especially for their museum; books about tractors and farm toy collecting; and museum shirts, hats and collectibles. Admission is $3.00 per person. No coupons or discounts will be accepted for this event. Everyone is welcome to sign up for a chance to win door prizes. Living History Farms is a non-profit, historical, educational foundation located at 11121 Hickman Road, Urbandale, Iowa. Operations and maintenance are dependent upon gate receipts, memberships, and contributions.
