Nothing is better than the real thing, but below is a taste of what you will see at the National Farm Toy Museum.
On the museum’s first floor, you will enjoy the 45-seat movie theater with a ten minute movie show, a full-sized farmhouse porch, and yard scenes depicting farm changes from 1900 to the present time. A wide variety of toys and an actual die cast machine once used at the Ertl Company are also featured on this floor.
The second floor includes an exhibit depicting the way corn and grain harvesting has changed from ancient times to the present, which is accented by custom-made machine replicas. Displays of additional farm toys including pedal tractors, construction equipment, and tractors are also featured on the upper level.
